A local repair business who specialises in musical instrument repair and setup and electronics and amplifier repair reached out with a need for an online presence. The business had operated through word of mouth and via their Facebook page, but a more formalised home was needed to list all of the services offered, prices, and contact information.
We agreed a the style would be slightly tongue-in-cheek, which would cater well to the target audience of musicians and creatives. The site structure would be a simple one-page design. With the main focus on the services offered. A gallery would be included, with the potential for a portfolio blog. Another key feature of the site would be the testimonial section, as the business had accrued a number of 5 star reviews.
The Hero section contains a fun message, an image of a broken guitar and amplifier and a button anchoring to the services section.
The services section has a slick stye, with oversized background images with a gradient overlay fading to solid dark/light grey alternately. Each background image was chosen carefully to represent each service offered. The pricing structure was kept deliberately simple as many jobs are priced on an individual basis.
The testimonials are displayed in a carousel and are replicated from the active Google Business listing. A button links to the Google Business listing so customers can see first-hand the reviews.
A simple gallery was decided upon to allow some featured projects to be showcased.
And finally, a contact section, linking to all of the social channels, business location, contact details and a web form.
